1. About FunRaiser

FunRaiser is a platform that helps New Zealand school classes run fundraisers with challenge milestones. It is operated by Christoph Koch, 132 Pupu Valley Road, 7183 Takaka, Tasman, New Zealand.

2. How It Works

• Teachers create fundraisers with a goal and challenge milestones.
• Donors contribute via Stripe. 100% of donations go to the school.
• Sponsors can cover transaction fees and optionally match donations.
• When milestones are reached, the teacher completes the challenge and uploads a video.

3. Donations

All donations are processed securely by Stripe. FunRaiser does not take any percentage of donations. 100% of the donated amount is transferred to the school's bank account after the fundraiser ends.

Donations are not tax-deductible unless the receiving school holds donee status with Inland Revenue. Please check with the school directly.

4. Sponsors

Sponsors agree to cover Stripe processing fees plus a 5% platform fee (capped at NZD $300) for the fundraiser they sponsor. Sponsors may optionally match a percentage of donations. Sponsor fees and matching amounts are invoiced after the fundraiser ends.

5. School Verification

Before a fundraiser goes live, the school must verify the fundraiser via an email sent to their official school email address. This ensures fundraisers are legitimate and authorised by the school.

6. Content & Videos

Teachers are responsible for ensuring uploaded videos are appropriate. All videos are reviewed by FunRaiser before being published. We reserve the right to decline or remove content that is inappropriate, offensive, or unrelated to the fundraiser.

7. Payouts

Funds are transferred to the school bank account provided by the teacher after the fundraiser deadline has passed. FunRaiser is not responsible for incorrect bank account details provided by the teacher.

8. Limitation of Liability

FunRaiser is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid to us in connection with the relevant fundraiser.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of FunRaiser after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New Zealand.
